Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb Netherlands Leiden Cell Therapy Site is seeking a Lead Material Operations Specialist II to manage routine material handling, cold chain and ambient logistics. You will ensure GMP-compliant receipt, storage, labeling and distribution, and drive inventory control and data accuracy across shifts.

The role requires 8+ years in cGMP warehouses, SAP/eWM experience, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in a cGMP warehouse environment.
HazMat experience and certifications are a plus.
Experience with receiving, temperature storage, issuance and inventory control.
Cold chain logistics for time-sensitive biologics.
Familiarity with shipment documentation and freight processes.
Knowledge of environmental monitoring in cGMP environments.
Ability to define and write procedures.
Reliable, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication with peers and management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team with changing priorities.
Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet stacker).
Advanced experience with SAP or other Warehouse ERP systems.
Project management experience is required.
Strong technical writing skills.
Familiarity with eWM systems.

Responsibilities

Executes routine materials management activities including receipt, storage, transfer, distribution, disposal and cleaning per GMP.
Prepares materials for shipment to internal and external parties per GMP.
Ensures correct labeling according to GMP procedures.
Performs inventory control practices including cycle counting and disposition of rejected/expired material.
Writes procedures to maintain safe, organized working space.
Responds to system and equipment alarms during shifts as per GMP.
Coordinates internal and external customer requests across units.
Trains others on GMP Material Operations.
Uses SAP/eWM and other systems for data verification and reporting.
Supports project management and continuous improvement in the site.
Maintains high reporting proficiency with metrics.
