Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking experienced professionals to join a biopharmaceutical manufacturing team in the Netherlands, focused on cell and gene therapy products. The role operates in a GMP cleanroom environment and requires aseptic cell culturing under strict regulatory conditions.

You will perform media preparation, cell expansion and harvesting, maintain batch records, and participate in quality investigations within a 5-shift rotation schedule, with onboarding and training provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in cell culturing.
• Experience in GMP cleanroom manufacturing.
• Experience in aseptic techniques in a cleanroom.
• Willingness to work a 5-shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Work in GMP cleanroom manufacturing of cell and gene therapy products.
• Perform cell culturing activities (media prep, expansion, harvesting).
• Complete batch records and manufacturing documentation.
• Identify deviations and support quality investigations.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Work in a 24-hour shift schedule (days, evenings, nights, and weekends).

Job Description

Our client is expanding their cell and gene therapy operations, and is looking for experienced people to bring their knowledge to the team.

In this role, you will work in a highly regulated GMP cleanroom in the manufacturing of cutting-edge therapies for patients worldwide.

You will work in an international environment and have many training and growing opportunities.

Your Job Includes

• Working fully gowned in a GMP-compliant cleanroom using aseptic techniques
• Cell culturing (media preparation, cell expansion, and cell harvesting)
• Collaborating with junior and senior associates in an international environment
• Completing batch records and manufacturing documentation
• Identifying and documenting deviations, and well as supporting quality investigations
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes
• Working in a 24 hour shift schedule (days, evenings, nights, and weekends)

Profile

• Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical or a related discipline
• 2+ years of experience in cell culturing
• Preference for experience in manufacturing in a biopharmaceutical context
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment using aseptic techniques is a must
• Experience working under GMP conditions is a must

Employment Conditions

• Salary: €3,000 - €4,000 gross per month based on 37.3 hours
• 12-month contract with the intention of permanent employment
• Extensive onboarding and training program
