Job summary

MillerKnoll is seeking a Truck Driver - Switcher for 3rd shift on site at our facility. The role moves trailers between docks using a single axle diesel semi-tractor/switcher, with on-site and local road duties.

You will perform inspections, maintain safety and DOT compliance, and support shipping/receiving. CDL Class A license required; medical card; ability to pass DOT physical and random drug tests; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CDL Class A license with medical card.
• Safe driving record and DOT-compliant history.
• Ability to pass DOT physical.
• Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Lift 50–70 lbs, work with limited supervision.
• Read, understand and follow English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers on company property between the pad and docks.
• Travel on public roads to obtain fuel, service equipment, or trailers.
• Fill in for other drivers when needed.
• Maintain inventory of trailers using tracking systems.
• Adhere to OSHA and DOT regulations and 5S cleanliness.
