Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Caretaker / Cleaner to start ASAP at a care home in Leek. Responsibilities include cleaning toilets, replacing towels and seats, and maintaining facilities to contractual standards.

The role is temporary to permanent, with rotating two-week shifts. Pay ranges from £11.82+ per hour (PAYE) to £14.55+ per hour (Umbrella), with regular week-to-week work and driving/transport required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cleaner / Caretaker or similar experience.
• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• Own Tools.
• Own Transport.
• Ability to provide 2 x references if not previously employed by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Clean toilets and replace hand towel dispensers and toilet seats.
• Maintain sites to contractual standards and care home facilities in Leek.
• Perform general upkeep of grounds and premises as required.

We Require a Caretaker / Cleaner to start ASAP to look after welfare facilities in a care home in Leek.

Job Description

Main duties are cleaning toilets, replacing hand towel dispenses, toilet seats and maintenance on local authority buildings. You will also ensure the sites and grounds are cleaned and maintained to contractual standards.

This contract is temporary to permanent.

The hours - There are 2 shifts which rotate weekly:

Week 1 :

Mon Fri 6.45 - 14.00

6.75 hours daily, 33.75 hours in total

Week 2:

Mon - Thur 14.00 - 22.00

Fri 14.00 - 21.30

Sat 7.30 - 13.45

42.75 hours in total

Must be able to drive and have transport.

• £11.82+ per hour - PAYE OR £14.55+ per hour - Umbrella
• Regular work on a week-to-week basis, Monday to Friday.
