Job summary

Sungrow is seeking driven software engineers to build scalable, high-performance C++ applications for embedded Linux devices in the field. You will design and maintain cross-platform C++ SDK components powering EV charging and energy systems.

Applicants should have 3+ years of C++ experience, strong memory management, Linux toolchains, and multithreading skills. Engineering mindset and a degree in CS/EE are required; knowledge of EV charging or energy systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional C++ experience with modern standards.
• Experience developing on embedded Linux with standard toolchains.
• Experience with multithreading and synchronization.
• Familiar with networking protocols (MQTT, TCP/IP, WebSockets) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Solve What Matters: break down low-level challenges to deliver clean, rock-solid software for embedded Linux devices.
• Build and Scale: design, build, and maintain C++ components, libraries, and internal APIs for EV charging and energy systems.
• Optimize Everything: push performance, memory usage, and reliability in embedded Linux environments.
• Master Concurrency: implement efficient multi-threaded software with proper synchronization.
• Own It in Production: deliver production-quality code from design to live deployment and CI.
