Job summary

JAC Recruitment seeks a proactive Business Systems & Digital Transformation Specialist to lead modernization of internal systems and drive digital initiatives in the Greater Rotterdam area. The role centers on aligning business needs with technical solutions, including Salesforce CRM and HR systems projects.

You will liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, supervise UAT/training, and ensure successful adoption of new digital processes across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Systems, Application Management, IT Coordination, or Digital Transformation roles.
• Experience supporting or implementing business applications.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with external vendors and software providers.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Systems & Digital Transformation Specialist to lead the modernization of our internal business systems and support the company's digital transformation initiatives.

Location

Greater Rotterdam, Netherlands

On-site (5 days per week initially)

Business Systems & Process Improvement

• Understand and support existing business applications and workflows
• Take ownership of legacy systems currently maintained by an external vendor
• Identify opportunities to digitize manual and paper-based processes
• Improve operational efficiency through technology
• Act as the bridge between business users and technical partners

CRM & HR Systems Implementation

• Support the implementation and rollout of Salesforce CRM
• Support HR systems projects and future HR platform improvements
• Gather business requirements from internal stakeholders
• Translate business needs into technical requirements
• Support UAT, testing, training, and user adoption

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary contact for external software vendors and IT partners
• Coordinate system enhancements and implementation projects
• Manage vendor relationships and service delivery
• Challenge and improve existing solutions where necessary
• Work with department heads to identify improvement opportunities

Internal IT & Systems Support

• Support business applications and system users
• Coordinate technical support with external providers
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system access
• Support system administration activities as required

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience in Business Systems, Application Management, IT Coordination, or Digital Transformation roles
• Experience supporting or implementing business applications
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with external vendors and software providers
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Experience

• Salesforce implementation or administration
• CRM implementation projects
• HR systems (Personio or similar)
• ERP systems
• Business process improvement / digitalization projects
• Internal systems ownership within SMEs or mid-sized companies
• Vendor management experience

Ideal Candidate

• Can understand legacy systems and lead modernization efforts
• Is comfortable coordinating between business users and technical teams

For the senior position, Dutch language skills are highly preferred due to knowledge transfer requirements from the existing system owner.
