Basic Fit International B.V. is seeking a developer to design and build internal business systems, including workflow‑driven applications, data models and smart interfaces.

You will develop end‑to‑end internal tools using low‑code platforms, Postgres, SQL and JavaScript, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure security and maintainability from the start.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with low-code platforms.
• Confidence with Postgres and solid SQL knowledge.

• Awareness of security, permissions, maintainability and performance — from the start.

You will help Basic‑Fit scale by designing and building internal business systems, including workflow‑driven applications, smart interfaces and data models that enable teams to work faster and reduce manual effort.

Responsibilities

• Translate and design: Turn business needs and process challenges into clear, structured system designs.
• Build end‑to‑end: Develop internal tools and workflow‑driven applications using low‑code platforms, front‑end tooling, Postgres, and AI‑supported development tools.
• Work close to the business: Engage directly with stakeholders to understand processes, challenge assumptions and improve ways of working.
• Model data well: Design Postgres data models that fit both the process and the users of the system.
• Write solid SQL & JavaScript: Use SQL to structure and work with data effectively; use JavaScript where needed to extend or support solutions.
• Think beyond the happy path: Build in permissions, validation, auditability, error handling and edge cases from the start.
• Iterate fast: Respond quickly to feedback and evolving business needs.
• Own it: Take full ownership from concept to live, reliable solution.
