Job summary

Huxley is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to shape data architecture for a new platform. You will define bounded contexts, own domain data and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data with business needs.

In this role you will map current processes, establish data lineage across SAP HR and related systems, and design API- and event-driven integrations to enable seamless data provisioning and migration. Strong focus on master data management and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in data domains, master data management, and data governance.
• Experience with domain-driven design and bounded context modelling.
• Experience with current state and target state process analysis.
• Experience defining REST APIs and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Validate and define the bounded context for domain data.
• Analyse ownership of attributes such as identity, seniority, position, qualifications, postings.
• Determine data entities for the new platform vs adjacent domains.
• Establish data mastership and lineage across SAP HR and other platforms.
• Document transformation rules and data curation requirements.
• Map current state business processes and data flows.
• Analyse dependencies, interfaces, integrations, and downstream usage.
• Design future state processes and data provisioning capabilities.
• Define API-driven and event-driven integration patterns.
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target state environments.
• Assess migration impacts on business processes and consuming applications.
• Standardise terminology across domains and stakeholders.
• Define functional requirements for operational back office capabilities.
• Support manual override processes, crew identifier management, and business rule administration.

• Analyse and confirm ownership of related attributes including identity, seniority, position, qualifications, postings, counters, and passport information
• Determine which data entities belong within the new platform and which remain within adjacent domains such as scheduling, rostering, assignments, and analytics
• Establish data mastership and lineage across systems including SAP HR and other management platforms
• Document transformation rules and data curation requirements
• Map current state business processes and data flows
• Analyse existing consumer dependencies, interfaces, integrations, and downstream usage
• Design future state business processes and data provisioning capabilities
• Define API driven and event driven integration patterns
• Conduct gap analysis between current and target state environments
