Job summary

TrueNorth is seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to join its Strategic Finance function in a hands-on, player-coach role, with the potential to lead a team in the future. The position is based in Delft, Netherlands, and reports to the Director of Strategic Finance.

Location: Delft; Salary: €85,000-€95,000 base (excluding 8% holiday allowance). English-speaking environment, Dutch would be beneficial. Team leadership experience is an absolute requirement for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must have team leadership experience; applicants without it will not be considered.
• Hands-on SQL skills with complex datasets.
• Dashboarding experience with Qlik, Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Strong BI/analytics experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• English-speaking environment; Dutch would be beneficial.
• Must have full right to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve business-facing dashboards and management reporting.
• Establish trusted KPI frameworks and consistent metric definitions.
• Translate data into clear insights, recommendations and actions.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Revenue, Product, Customer, Support and Operations.
• Work closely with Data Platform/Engineering teams.
• Improve self-service BI and data literacy.
• Help shape the BI function as the role develops, and lead teams.

We are working with an established international SaaS business that's been operating for around 30 years and has grown to around 700 employees globally.

They develop their own B2B software platform and have an international presence across multiple markets, with a collaborative, people-focused culture and a strong appetite for technology, data and AI.

They're now looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to join their Strategic Finance function in a hands-on, player-coach role, eventually moving into a team leading role as well.

PLEASE NOTE: team leadership experience is required for this role. If you do not have this experience and cannot demonstrate it, we will not consider your application.

You will be responsible for:

• Building and improving business-facing dashboards and management reporting
