Job summary

SystemsAccountants seeks a BI Application Consultant to support, optimise, and develop BI environments for a portfolio of international organisations. Job description

A BI Application Consultant is sought to support, optimise, and develop BI environments for a portfolio of leading international organisations. This role combines application support, consulting, data modelling, reporting, and BI development across a range of technologies.

The successful candidate will take ownership of key client relationships, troubleshoot complex BI issues, advise on data-driven planning initiatives, and help organisations maximise the value of their BI investments. Working closely with experienced consultants, they will contribute to both client projects and the ongoing development of BI support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead support and optimisation activities for a portfolio of BI clients
• Troubleshoot reporting, data, and application issues
• Build reports, dashboards, and self-service BI solutions
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Advise on BI, EPM, and predictive planning initiatives
• Support software upgrades and system enhancements
• Mentor junior consultants and share best practice

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Business IT, or similar
• Strong financial knowledge
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI, (other tools including SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Tableau may be considered)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with business stakeholders
• Fluent English, Dutch or Spanish skills would be beneficial
