Relocately is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform raw data into insights and support data-driven decisions. You will build reports and dashboards, perform data modeling, and ensure data quality while collaborating across IT, finance, marketing, and operations.

You will translate complex data into clear business recommendations, enabling stakeholders to act on trends and KPIs. A strong analytics background and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (CS, Analytics, Economics or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Tableau, Power BI or Qlik for data visualization.
• SQL proficiency to extract and analyze data from databases.
• Solid understanding of statistics and data analysis methods.
• Good business sense and ability to contextualize data insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Programming skills in Python or R are beneficial.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong time management and delivery focus.

As a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, your role is to transform raw data into meaningful insights and actionable information to support data-driven decision-making within an organization. Business Intelligence Analysts work closely with various departments to analyze data, create reports and dashboards, and provide valuable insights that can improve business processes and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
• Report and Dashboard Creation: Develop reports, visualizations, and interactive dashboards to present data in a clear and concise manner.
• Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models that enable efficient data analysis and visualization.
• Data Cleansing and Validation: Ensure data accuracy and consistency by identifying and resolving data quality issues.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance and identify trends.
• Data Interpretation: Translate data findings into actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or economics is commonly required. Some roles may require a master's degree or higher.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to process and interpret complex data sets.
• Data Visualization: Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to create insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards.
• SQL and Database Knowledge: Familiarity with SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
• Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical concepts and methods to conduct data analysis and infer trends.
• Business Acumen: An understanding of business operations, processes, and objectives to contextualize data insights.
