“Every lasting customer relationship starts with a great first conversation. As a Business Development Representative, you are the one who starts that conversation.”
At Nedap, we develop high-quality solutions for physical access management, helping organizations around the world operate more securely, efficiently, and intelligently. To strengthen our commercial team in security, we are looking for an energetic and driven Business Development Representative for the DACH region.
In this role, you focus on building valuable customer relationships that develop into relevant leads and commercial opportunities. You work at the forefront of our go-to-market approach and engage with large organizations, including enterprise customers and public institutions, where scale, complexity, and physical security come together.
You are often the first point of contact for potential key accounts. You identify the right stakeholders, explore their challenges and ambitions, and create relevant commercial conversations for our Sales Managers and Channel Partner Managers.
This role gives you the opportunity to further develop your commercial skills while directly contributing to the growth of Nedap in security.

Work with marketing, partners, and colleagues on account-based marketing campaigns, exclusive events, and the continuous improvement of our sales development approach.
Qualify incoming leads
Manage and qualify inbound leads in HubSpot while keeping CRM data accurate and up to date.
You will join the Market Solutions team within our security business. The team brings together commercial professionals working across the entire customer journey, including Business Development Representatives, Sales Managers, Implementation Consultants, and Customer Success colleagues.
You will work closely with two other Business Development Representatives responsible for the UK & Ireland and Benelux & Nordics. On a daily basis, you will collaborate with Sales Managers and Channel Partner Managers in the DACH region, as well as with our partners on events, campaigns, and other commercial initiatives.
The Market Solutions team focuses on growing our business with both new and existing key accounts. You will be supported by our Sales Director, with whom you will discuss opportunities, priorities, and ongoing projects every week.
Work arrangement
You will preferably work from our Campus in Groenlo several days a week, although hybrid working is also possible. Several times a year, the entire Market Solutions team comes together to share experiences, celebrate successes, and look ahead.
You will work in an international commercial environment that is continuously evolving. You will have the freedom to organize your work in a way that suits you, create new opportunities, and continue developing within a team that encourages entrepreneurship, collaboration, and ownership.
As a Business Development Representative, you can expect:
You enjoy opening doors and starting conversations with new people because you are genuinely curious about what matters to customers. You ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and know how to turn a conversation into a commercial opportunity. You take initiative, persist when opportunities take time to develop, and are motivated to keep learning. Above all, you feel at home in an environment where trust, ownership, and collaboration are central to how we work.
