Qualifications

Being a Business Development Manager at Privalgo B.V

As a Business Development Manager at Privalgo B.V, you will be raring to go and at the forefront of driving growth and expanding our market presence. Your role is critical in identifying new business opportunities, and you will always be thinking about strategies that enhance our competitive edge. Strong appetite to expand/gain knowledge of FX payments and hedging strategies is key. You'll engage with C-level stakeholders to tailor solutions that meet their strategic needs.

Your dynamic approach and strategic thinking will be essential in navigating the challenges of a competitive market and positioning Privalgo as a leader in the industry.

You will work as part of a Pod where you will be coached and mentored by one of our highly skilled Senior Relationship Managers. They will share industry knowledge and experience to develop your skills and enhance your performance.

You will also work closely with our Managing Director who will support all of your training and development that will truly set you up for success. Just remember, you will be in the driving seat of your career at Privalgo, and we want you to be proactive about getting what you need.

Objectives of the Role

• Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
• Market Analysis & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the FX & payments industry. Develop and execute strategic plans based on market insights to position Privalgo as a leader in the payments sector.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline through effective lead generation, qualification, and follow-up processes. Utilise CRM tools to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and generate detailed reports on sales performance.
• Product Knowledge: Hands on experience related to B2B sales or preferably FX payments with an understanding of hedging/risk management. Your acquired knowledge and skills will allow you to navigate the world of foreign exchange.
• Continuous Learning & Improvement: Stay updated on the latest developments in the payments industry, including new technologies, regulations, and market trends. Proactively seek opportunities to innovate and improve sales processes, ensuring Privalgo remains competitive and agile.

• A professional with +1 years experience within a FX/Payments Sales role. You will have a growth mindset, with the resilience, hunger, drive and ambition we need to keep being successful.
• Enjoy having high-level conversations with stakeholders, quickly linking their needs to our solutions.
• Confidence is key here, and the pace at Privalgo is fast so you’ll need to ensure you can keep up.
