SoftwareOne in Amsterdam is seeking a Business Development Consultant Cybersecurity to design secure, future‑proof architectures and drive enterprise security solutions across our strategic vendor portfolio. You will translate complex security challenges into scalable license and service offerings, collaborating closely with sales teams and large enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret complex business challenges and translate them into effective technology solutions.
• Strong expertise with cybersecurity ISVs, especially Crowdstrike, Trend Micro, Okta, CyberArk.
• Solid commercial mindset and confidence navigating sales cycles.
• Skilled negotiator who seeks win‑win outcomes for clients and the organisation.
• Comfortable using CRM systems (e.g., OneSales) and leveraging analytics/digital tools.
• Awareness of market dynamics, regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, DORA) and modern security trends including identity‑centric security models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to scope and size security opportunities.
• Recommend tailored license and service solutions across our ISV portfolio.
• Act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through emerging trends such as GenAI risks, sovereignty, and identity‑driven security.
• Support the full sales cycle, identifying opportunities for upsell and cross‑sell.
• Define profitable, competitive margins aligned with market conditions.
• Develop accurate quotes and solution collateral (presentations, case studies, whitepapers) with cross‑functional alignment.
