Job summary

G2 Recruitment is seeking a Business Controller to join its client in the offshore engineering sector. The role combines financial oversight with business partnering to support operational teams with budgeting, forecasting and compliance.

You will work in a dynamic environment near the east of Hogeveen, the Netherlands, starting August/September 2026. 32–40 hours per week and fluent Dutch/English are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Dutch laws and regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Preferably experience in oil and gas, energy, industrial, or engineering sectors.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

The client operates in the offshore engineering industry. It is an offshore EPIC company that primarily operates in the energy sector and is known for its experience in collaborating with stakeholders from various business functions.

In this role, you will combine financial oversight with acting as a business partner. You will work closely with the operational teams to provide financial insights, oversee accounting, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with Dutch regulations.

Location: east of Hogeveen, the Netherlands

Start Date: August/September 2026

32–40 hours

Experience
