Job summary

Paula’s Choice Skincare, a global skincare leader, is seeking a Business Controller to drive financial planning and partnering across marketing, operations and sales. Based in Amersfoort, the role blends strategic oversight with hands-on data analytics and ERP leadership.

You will lead monthly forecasts, yearly budgets, and month-end closings, while driving continuous improvements and pricing initiatives in a growing European hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and finance degree in Finance/Accounting/Controlling.
• 5-10 years of experience in finance.
• ERP knowledge; NetSuite is a plus.
• Strong data management, analytics and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Finance business partner to marketing, operations and sales teams across channels.
• Data integrity management and analytics to create actionable business insights.
• Lead the monthly forecasting and yearly budgeting process.
• Prepare month- and year-end closing with the financial controller.
• Lead strategic finance topics with business impact.
• ERP systems expert with focus on NetSuite.
• Identify continuous improvements and automation in financial processes and systems.
• Own pricing management.
• Back-up for Financial Controller.

Role overview

Are you ready for a next step in your finance career and eager to learn? In order to support our business and long-term growth trajectory we are looking for a business controller. As business controller you will report directly to the Senior Finance & Operations Director and together you will step-change the finance discipline at Paula’s Choice Europe to allow us to further grow in this decade.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finance business partner multiple marketing, operations & sales teams across our channels
• Data (integrity) management and analytics to create actionable business insights
• Leading the (monthly) forecasting and (yearly) budgeting process
• Preparing month/ year-end closing together with financial controller
• Leading most relevant business/financial strategic topics that make impact
• (Financial) systems expert. Main focus on ERP (Netsuite)
• Focus on finding continuous improvement and automation projects in our (financial) processes and systems
• Full responsibility for pricing management
• Back-up for Financial controller

What will you bring:

• Bachelor & Finance Degree in Finance/Accounting/Controlling;
• 5-10 years of work experience in finance;
• Data management, engineering and analytics experience;
• ERP knowledge (NetSuite knowledge is a plus);
• Finance business partner and stakeholder management experience
• Hands-on and entrepreneurial mentality;
• Self-starting, ability to work independently and take responsibility;
• Analytical skills to create actionable insights;
