DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Venlo is seeking a Business Analyst to translate financial and operational data into strategic insights that guide transport decisions.

You will combine data analysis, stakeholder management and process optimisation to drive measurable improvements, building dashboards in Power BI and Excel and supporting monthly reviews with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in logistics, business administration or a related field.

• Experience creating management reports and dashboards with Power BI and Excel.

Business Analyst Transport Solutions – Venlo (DSV)

Translate financial data into strategic insights and contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport organisation. In this role, you will combine data analysis, stakeholder management and process optimisation to create sustainable impact.

As a business analyst, you translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights that support better decision-making and process improvements. You analyse performance, identify deviations and recognise opportunities to further optimise efficiency and results within Transport Solutions.

You will act as the connecting link between finance, operations and management. You translate analyses into concrete recommendations, support improvement initiatives and ensure that insights are converted into actions with measurable impact on the organisation. You achieve this by:

• monitoring and analysing financial KPIs and performance using dashboards and management reports;
• developing, optimising and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI and Excel to provide clear management information;
• advise operations and management based on data analyses and supporting monthly business reviews with well‑founded insights and improvement proposals.

Qualifications

• a bachelor’s or master’s degree level of education and thinking, preferably in logistics, business administration or a related field;
• experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably within the transport or logistics sector;
• experience analysing data and developing management reports, preferably using Power BI and Excel;
• the ability to translate data into clear insights, concrete improvement proposals and valuable management information;
• a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and ownership to independently drive improvement initiatives.
