Job summary

MSIG Specialty Marine seeks an experienced Business Analyst to join our Change & Transformation team. You will bridge business and technology, gathering requirements and guiding process redesign across underwriting, exposure management, pricing and portfolio management.

You will work with senior stakeholders and external partners to deliver practical, data-driven solutions, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes and improved data governance.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years’ Business Analysis experience.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, analysing and managing complex business requirements.
• Strong process mapping, process improvement and problem-solving capability.
• Experience working across both business and technology teams.
• Experience supporting technology, data or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work effectively with senior and specialist stakeholders.
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or ambiguous business problems.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, processes and opportunities for improvement.
• Elicit, analyse, document and validate business, functional, non-functional and data requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear requirements for technology teams and delivery partners.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to establish requirements, priorities and outcomes.
• Develop process maps, user journeys, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain traceability of requirements through the change lifecycle.
• Challenge assumptions and ensure solutions address underlying business needs.
