Job summary

Siemens in The Hague, Netherlands, seeks an Engineering Team Lead BusBar Solutions & BIM integration to lead a multidisciplinary electrical and BIM engineering team delivering BusBar power distribution solutions for hyperscale data centres worldwide. You combine people leadership with technical oversight, promote collaboration, coach junior engineers, and strengthen team capability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
At least 10 years in power distribution or related fields.
At least 3 years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of electrical and BIM engineers. Set clear priorities and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Build the capabilities needed for future growth through recruitment, succession planning and performance development.
Provide technical and operational direction. Drive engineering quality and standardization while promoting innovation, modularization and design optimization.
Work closely with Project Management, Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Commissioning. Provide technical guidance for bids and proposals while supporting resource planning, risk management and continuous improvement in project execution.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders. Align global teams with Siemens BusBar factories around the world. Act as an escalation point and contribute to strategic discussions within the Engineering Management Team.
