Job summary

Rijk Zwaan, an international family business, seeks a Crop Coordinator Brassicas to bridge international and local teams, translating market insights into strategy and coordinating trials and commercial plans. The role requires a completed master's in agriculture and 5+ years in sales, horticulture, or product management.

You will be based in The Netherlands, travel internationally, and advise the Strategic Crop Team with a strong commercial mindset and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Completed master's degree in agriculture (e.g., Horticulture or Biology).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in sales, horticulture and/or product management.
• Solid knowledge of vegetable crops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate commercial introduction and trial plans per market segment with sales objectives and forecasts.
• Gather market and product insights with a network of crop specialists to inform commercial strategies.
• Identify opportunities for new product development.
• Advise the Strategic Crop Team on current activities and future directions.
• Act as client manager for key Brassica accounts locally.
• Lead special local projects that connect crop and local organizations.
