Job summary

IMIHGOM, a European business development and licensing company, seeks a Business Development Associate in Leiden, The Netherlands. You will report to CEO/COO and drive BD and sales across Europe and the United States, building strategic client relationships and identifying new opportunities.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in biomedical sciences, 1+ year BD experience, strong negotiation and networking skills, and fluency in English. Travel about one third of the time; office base in Leiden.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in biomedical sciences or a related field.
• 1+ year of business development and commercial strategy preferred.
• Independent and entrepreneurial, able to identify and develop new business prospects.
• Strong negotiation skills and a broad biopharma network.
• English fluency in verbal and written form; other languages a plus.
• Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive business development and sales activities across Europe and the United States.
• Acquire new accounts and grow revenue as per the sales plan.
• Develop client-focused strategies and manage key accounts.
• Form strategic alliances with biopharma companies and pursue new opportunities.
• Maintain CRM and prepare client presentations, proposals, quotes, contracts.
• Travel approximately 33% and office based in Leiden.
