As part of our growth, we’re seeking a Biofuel Broker MED (Mediterranean region) to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the biofuels trading space.

Role Overview:

As a Biofuel Broker, you will be instrumental in executing commercial transactions, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities in the biofuels market. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to navigate the complexities of the renewable energy sector and help SFI Green Markets expanding its business in sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage biofuel trades in physical markets Execute and biofuel ticket markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, suppliers, and clients.
• Analyze market trends and provide insights to clients on biofuel pricing, regulation, and supply/demand dynamics with focus on Mediterranean countries.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both SFI and clients.
• Stay up to date with regulatory changes, industry trends, and innovations in the biofuels sector.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance strategies, improve operations, and contribute to achieving company goals.

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience (2-5 years) in biofuel brokerage, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of biofuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and environmental regulations.
• A keen understanding of trading strategies and negotiation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for sustainability.
• Proficient in Spanish and/or Italian (additional languages a plus).
