Job summary

French Selection (FS) is seeking a Dutch & English speaking Business Development Manager to drive new business in the Netherlands from a home-based base. The role combines consultative selling of CAD/CAM software with end-to-end management of the sales cycle and travel up to 50% to client sites and events.

You will build strong customer and partner relationships, deliver tailored technical solutions, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets while keeping accurate forecasts in

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken).
• Experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
• Background selling industrial software or technical software is advantageous.
• Working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming software is a plus.
• Excellent presentation, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills; able to work independently.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development across the Netherlands through prospecting, lead generation and customer acquisition.
• Manage the full sales cycle from qualification and technical demonstrations to proposal, negotiation and closing.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and resellers acting as the primary technical contact.
• Deliver tailored CAD/CAM solutions that address customers' manufacturing and CNC machining challenges.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, provide regular forecasting and keep Salesforce CRM updated with customer and opportunity data
• Develop territory sales strategies by analysing market opportunities, competitor activity and industry trends.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events and customer meetings while collaborating with internal technical teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
