Ecolog International is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the end-to-end development and submission of complex bids and proposals.
We are looking for a hands-on professional who can manage the full bid lifecycle from opportunity review, planning and solution development to coordination, writing, review, production and final submission.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bids from RFP receipt through final submission and clarification stages.
- Review tender documents, evaluation criteria, contractual requirements and client instructions.
- Prepare bid plans, compliance matrices, response structures, schedules and responsibility matrices.
- Coordinate inputs from SMEs, operations, engineering, procurement, supply chain, commercial, finance, legal, HR, HSE and quality teams.
- Lead bid kick-off meetings, progress reviews and internal approval processes.
- Draft, edit and improve technical, operational and management proposal content.
- Challenge incomplete or generic inputs and work with SMEs to develop clear, credible and evidence-based responses.
- Ensure compliance with submission instructions, evaluation criteria, page limits and formatting requirements.
- Maintain alignment between the proposed solution, pricing, staffing, program, risks and contractual commitments.
- Manage final document production, quality checks, version control and submission.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in bid management, proposal management or a similar role.
- Proven experience managing complex bids from planning through submission.
- Strong bid-management, proposal-writing and editing capabilities.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical, operational, commercial and contractual information.
- Strong planning, stakeholder-management and deadline-management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Adobe InDesign is preferred.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance and quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; APMP or similar certification is an advantage.

Experience in one or more of the following sectors is preferred:
- Government and defense contracting
- Humanitarian and international organizations
- Base operations and life-support services
- Construction, engineering and modular infrastructure
- Facilities management and integrated support services
- Logistics, procurement and supply chain
- Catering, food supply and warehouse operations
- Remote-site or high-risk operating environments
Location
The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of a bid, coordinate all contributors, develop and write the response, manage reviews and deliver a compliant, persuasive and submission-ready proposal.
