Job summary

Next Ventures seeks a Bid Manager to own the full bid lifecycle, ensuring compliant, compelling submissions. You’ll coordinate sales, delivery, legal, finance and technical teams in a hybrid/remote setting with occasional travel across Europe.

You will navigate EU tender environments, drive governance, and improve processes with a proactive, ownership mindset and strong Dutch/English communication.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing RFI/RFP processes in regulated procurement environments.
  • Experience working on EU tenders.
  • Knowledge of EU tender compliance, documentation control and governance.
  • 3–10+ years in Bid Management, Sales Support or PMO.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong writing, editing and information‑structuring skills.
  • Fluent Dutch (mandatory) and strong English for international collaboration.
  • Curious mindset with interest in AI in the sales process.
  • Proactive, solution‑oriented and ownership focused.

Job description

Bid Manager
The Role

The Bid Manager takes ownership of the full bid lifecycle, bringing structure, governance and consistency to all RFI/RFP responses. You will ensure submissions are compliant, compelling and delivered on time, while coordinating a wide range of stakeholders across sales, delivery, legal, finance and technical teams.

This role requires confidence navigating formal tender environments, strong organisation, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. It offers hybrid and remote working flexibility, with occasional travel for key collaboration moments.

What You’ll Do
  • Own bids end‑to‑end, from qualification through submission.

  • Drive governance, approvals and formal compliance throughout the bid process.

  • Ensure responses meet all legal, procurement and documentation requirements.

  • Coordinate sales, delivery, legal, finance and technical stakeholders.

  • Write, edit and structure bid content for clarity, consistency and impact.

  • Identify risks early and guide teams toward practical solutions.

  • Continuously improve bid processes and support integration of AI‑enabled tools.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience managing RFI/RFP processes in regulated or formal procurement environments.

  • Experience working on EU tenders.

  • Ability to explain and apply EU tender compliance, documentation control, governance and submission rules.

  • 3–10+ years’ experience in Bid Management, Sales Support or PMO roles.

  • Strong organisational skills and confidence managing multiple deadlines.

  • Clear communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Strong writing, editing and information‑structuring skills.

  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams).

  • Fluent Dutch (mandatory) and strong English for international collaboration.

  • Curious mindset with interest in innovation and AI in the sales process.

  • Proactive, solution‑oriented and comfortable taking ownership.

Your Background
  • Experience with RFI/RFP processes in regulated procurement environments.

  • Experience working on EU tenders.

  • Strong understanding of EU tender compliance, documentation control and governance.

  • 3–10+ years in Bid Management, Sales Support or PMO.

  • Experience in structured, deadline‑driven environments.

  • APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification is an advantage.
