Who you are

As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are customer‑friendly. Lifting heavy crates of 25 kilos is no problem for you. What else is important to know:

• You have a B driving license (stick shift)
• You speak Dutch or English
• You have your own transport to get to the location in Almere

What will you do

As a driver for Albert Heijn, every day is a new adventure. You start by getting your delivery route list and tools. Everything will be ready for you at the distribution point. You drive to the addresses on your delivery list and use the navigation to guide you. When you arrive at the customer, you scan the groceries with the handheld scanner, deliver them to the door, and handle the payment. At the end of your shift you return to the distribution center, clean the bus, and prepare for the next day.

Working days: Monday to Sunday. You must be available on Monday. Flexible working hours rotate between 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM.

Where will you work

The location is Wormerweg 10 in Almere. It is easy to reach with your own transport. You will work in a team, getting to know each other and sharing coffee before work. After only thirteen weeks you receive a pay increase. Evening shifts include a snack to keep you going. Albert Heijn also offers opportunities to become a senior driver or coach.
