Job summary

LONGi Solar in the Netherlands seeks a dynamic Pre-Sales Technical Solutions Manager focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). You will design technical solutions from inquiry to implementation and collaborate with customers, sales, PM, and R&D to ensure project success.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/energy engineering, experience in creating documentation and bidding documents, and excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
Experience creating technical documentation and bidding documents.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of battery storage, PCS, EMS, and grid integration preferred.
Familiarity with system simulation and design tools.
Proficient in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Analyze customer inquiries to design technical solutions for energy storage systems (BESS, PCS, EMS).
Evaluate feasibility and optimize solutions for efficiency and cost.
Prepare detailed specifications, schematics, and configurations.
Develop bidding documents and proposals meeting standards.
Collaborate with sales, PM, and R&D to align solutions with goals.
Act as technical contact for customers during pre-sales and implementation phases.
Contribute to new tools and methodologies for optimization.
