Job summary

Essity in Cuijk, Netherlands is seeking a Transport Coordinator to link the Benelux transport and warehousing operations. You will coordinate day-to-day goods movements, working with carriers, warehouses and Essity business teams across the Benelux and Belgium.

The role combines transport planning with warehouse activities at two Belgian locations, offering a hybrid work model and international collaboration across an extended network.

Qualifications

• You have relevant education or equivalent practical experience in logistics, transport, supply chain or a closely related field.
• You have experience in a transport, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Experience working with carriers, logistics companies or third-party logistics providers is an advantage.
• You are comfortable working with operational information, master data and KPIs, using your analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively.
• You are proactive, well-organized and comfortable coordinating multiple priorities.
• You communicate clearly and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English, as the role involves international collaboration. French is a strong advantage when working with the warehouse operations in Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchased transport from loading through to delivery locations across the Benelux.
• Act as the first point of escalation for transport issues and support the resolution of day-to-day operational and IT-related challenges.
• Maintain close contact with Essity business teams, transport hubs, carriers, warehouses, Customer Service and Supply Service.
• Manage non-conformities involving processes, systems, carriers and master data, and help resolve issues identified during the planning process.
• Monitor relevant transport, distribution and warehouse KPIs, including service levels and inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate daily activities with external third-party logistics providers at two warehouse locations in Belgium.
• Identify opportunities, propose improvements and contribute to the development of transport planning and warehousing processes.
