Job summary

Kienbaum Netherlands is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager Benelux for a leading Benelux distributor. You will oversee sales, business development, and purchasing & category management across the Netherlands and Belgium, guiding four managers and a 25-strong team.

You will drive the integration of recently acquired entities into one unified Benelux commercial organisation, shifting from product selling to solution selling and collaborating with the Management Team to deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in a B2B environment.
• At least 5 years leading managers and teams of 20+ people.
• Strong background in distribution or wholesale is a must have.
• Proven experience in both the Dutch and the Belgian market.
• Experience with solution selling, strategic key account development and purchasing and category management, including portfolio rationalisation.
• Management Team experience, contributing to strategy beyond the commercial function.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, business development and purchasing & category management in Benelux.
• Lead the commercial integration of acquired companies and realise synergies.
• Be the commercial and strategic sparring partner of the General Manager.
• Translate the company’s ambition into a clear commercial strategy and lead the team across the Netherlands and Belgium.
