Job summary

Dow Benelux Nederland zoekt een BIG-geregistreerde bedrijfsarts voor de Arbodienst op Terneuzen. Je voert verzuimbegeleiding, PAGO/PMO en aanstellingskeuringen uit, toetst RI&E’s en adviseert over preventieve maatregelen en gezondheid.

Je werkt samen met arbokerndeskundigen, HR en Emergency Response, en draagt bij aan duurzame inzetbaarheid en veiligheid op de locaties Delfzijl, Dordrecht en Terneuzen.

Qualifications

• BIG-geregistreerd bedrijfsarts.
• Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.

Responsibilities

• Begeleiden van verzuim en re-integratie volgens de Wet verbetering poortwachter.
• Analyseren ziekteverzuimcijfers en adviseren over beleid.
• Adviseren over arbobeleid.
• Uitvoeren van periodieke arbeidsgezondheidskundige onderzoeken (PAGO) en PMO.
• Uitvoeren van aanstellingskeuringen en RI&E’s toetsen.
• Bijdragen aan preventie, gezondheidsbevordering en samenwerking met Emergency Response.

Over jou en deze rol De Arbodienst Dow Benelux Nederland is een gecertificeerde interne arbodienst die dienstverlening verzorgt voor de drie Dow-locaties in Nederland (Terneuzen, Delfzijl en Dordrecht) en voor twee andere bedrijven gevestigd op het Terneuzen Industry Park. Binnen de arbodienst hebben wij een uitdagende vacature voor een Bedrijfarts voor onze locatie in Terneuzen, Nederland. In deze rol krijg je de mogelijkheid om je te ontwikkelen in een veelzijdige rol waarin verzuimbegeleiding slechts één van de aandachtsgebieden is. Je houdt je daarnaast bezig met onder meer periodieke arbeidsgezondheidskundige onderzoeken, preventieve medische onderzoeken, aanstellingskeuringen en het toetsen van RI&E’s. Ook draag je bij aan preventieve gezondheidsprogramma’s, adviseer je over gezondheid, vitaliteit en duurzame inzetbaarheid. Daarnaast speel je een actieve rol in de medische ondersteuning van de Emergency Response organisatie. Als onderdeel van Occupational Health / Arbodienst Dow werk je samen met een breed netwerk van professionals, waaronder arbokerndeskundigen, bedrijfsartsen, arboverpleegkundigen, HR, leidinggevenden en collega’s binnen de Emergency Response organisatie. Dankzij deze nauwe samenwerking en de sterke verbinding met de organisatie heb je goed inzicht in de werkomgeving, arbeidsrisico’s en uitdagingen binnen verschillende bedrijfsonderdelen. Zo draag je actief bij aan gezondheid, preventie en duurzame inzetbaarheid van medewerkers. Als bedrijfsarts binnen Arbodienst Dow maak je deel uit van een professionele, internationaal georiënteerde Occupational Health organisatie. Je krijgt volop de ruimte om vakinhoudelijk en persoonlijk te groeien en je verder te ontwikkelen, zowel lokaal als internationaal.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Je begeleidt, in het kader van de Wet verbetering poortwachter, werknemers en leidinggevenden bij verzuim en re-integratie, met aandacht voor wat iemand nog wél kan en voor duurzame werkhervatting.
• Je analyseert ziekteverzuimcijfers en adviseert de werkgever over het ziekteverzuim(beleid).
• Je adviseert de werkgever over arbobeleid.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de periodieke arbeidsgezondheidskundige onderzoeken (PAGO) en preventieve medische onderzoeken (PMO) en vertaalt de uitkomsten naar onderbouwde rapportages en praktische adviezen voor werknemer en werkgever.
• Je voert aanstellingskeuringen uit en zorgt dat deze zorgvuldig en volgens de geldende regels worden uitgevoerd.
• Je toetst RI&E’s en adviseert over preventieve maatregelen rondom uiteenlopende arbeidsrisico’s, waaronder blootstelling aan gevaarlijke stoffen, geluid, fysieke belasting, psychosociale arbeidsbelasting en werken in ploegendienst of nachtdiensten.
• Je levert een bijdrage aan preventie, gezondheidsbevordering en vroegsignalering van werkgerelateerde gezondheidsrisico’s.
• Je bent actief betrokken bij de medische ondersteuning van de Emergency Response organisatie.
• Dit betekent dat je niet alleen adviseert, maar ook de praktijk van dichtbij meemaakt door mee te gaan naar medische incidenten op de fabrieken.
• Daarnaast denk je mee over medische paraatheid, triage, incidentevaluaties en de optimale samenwerking tussen acute zorgverlening en bedrijfsgeneeskundige begeleiding.
• Je ondersteunt de afstemming met externe arbodienstverleners voor de Dow locaties Delfzijl en Dordrecht, zodat de kwaliteit en samenhang van de dienstverlening bewaakt blijft.
