Job summary

The Social Hub is seeking a personable barista to join our Grandmother Café and Clubhouse teams in Amsterdam. You will craft beverages from espresso to specialty drinks, bring warm, professional service, and help with restaurant and bar tasks throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates have barista or beverage prep experience, an outgoing guest-first mindset, strong communication, and the ability to multitask during busy periods. English and Dutch conversational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a barista or beverage prep is preferred.
• Guest-first mindset with a welcoming vibe.
• Strong communication skills for guest interaction.
• Good time management and ability to stay calm in lively moments.
• Conversational English and Dutch required.
• Curiosity to learn and support teammates.
• Ability to multitask across drinks, service and events.

Responsibilities

• Craft and serve high-quality beverages from espresso to smoothies.
• Provide warm, professional service to every guest.
• Assist with restaurant and bar tasks during busy moments.
• Keep the bar tidy, stocked and running smoothly.
• Answer guest questions with confidence and knowledge of the menu.
• Operate and care for coffee and drink equipment like a pro.
• Support events with setup and service as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth operations.
