Job summary

BaxterStorey NL in Amsterdam is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional coffee and service during office hours. You will greet customers, prepare a range of beverages, and ensure accuracy with allergen procedures while maintaining a tidy workspace.

As part of a collaborative team, you will follow HACCP and health-and-safety guidelines, monitor stock, handle payments, and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace. A genuine passion for coffee and guest experience is essential.

Hours: 32 to 38 hours per week (5 days per week, Monday - Friday, office hours)

Gross salary: EUR 2511,89 - 2778 gross per month based on 38 hours and excluding holiday allowance

• 25 holidays per calendar year
• Meals on shift for a small tax withholding

Job Description

• Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
• Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
• Share the story of our menu, and provide recommendations to customers and be aware allergen procedures
• The pride in your workspace, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and other surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and HACCP standards
• Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
• Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
• Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
