The Banquet Operations department in Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the largest Banquet Operations department among all five-star hotels in the Netherlands and is market leader in banquet revenue and quality.
As a Banquet set-up employee you are responsible for setting banquet rooms and ensuring that everything is set prior to guest arrival. You are aware of all in house events/activities and you make sure that all hotel standards are met. In this position, you will work closely with Banquet Supervisors and Guest relations, making each and every event a success.
Don't worry, you will not be working alone! Besides working with your team, you will also work closely with other departments in the hotel. Only by working together can we achieve the best results. Work will be done in shifts throughout a 7-day workweek. You will work 7.6 hours per day. Shifts are dependent on the events in house. Nightshifts are possible depending on the event type, however not frequent. You are also available to work on public holidays.
