Job summary

Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam is offering a Banqueting Internship starting in January 2026. In this role, you will prepare and set up banqueting rooms for various events and ensure impeccable service during weddings, meetings, and private dinners. You will collaborate with a passionate team to create exceptional guest experiences.

The internship promises professional growth through training opportunities and the chance to continue your career at The Grand after its completion.

An eye for detail and good English communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality (Management) Program.
• Available for a minimum of 5 months.
• Eye for detail and a proactive, hands-on mentality.
• Flexible, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
• Excellent English communication skills, Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and setting up historic banqueting rooms for events.

• Preparing and setting up our historic banqueting rooms for events of all sizes and styles.
• Working together with the team during events by delivering impeccable service with attention to detail.
• Assisting in the smooth coordination and execution of weddings, meetings, private dinners, and social gatherings.
• Collaborating with various departments to guarantee an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.
