Job summary

NS is looking for a Backend Developer to join the Team PSS in Utrecht. You will build backend services in TypeScript deployed on AWS in a DevOps team, with a focus on scalability, reliability and security.

You’ll collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owner and other developers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, while writing clean, tested code and sharing knowledge with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Primary experience is with TypeScript.
• Willing to learn other tech stacks (advantage).
• Excellent communication and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in TypeScript on AWS.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product Owner and other developers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Write clean, tested code and address security vulnerabilities.
• Improve backend quality and reliability via test-driven development.
• Stay updated on backend tech and share knowledge with the wider team.
