Job summary

ITproposal B.V. in Amsterdam is seeking a Senior TypeScript Developer with 6–8 years of experience to design and build cloud-native applications using Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL and AWS Serverless.

You will implement serverless patterns with Lambda, CDK, DynamoDB, and apply observability through CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry while delivering reliable, end-to-end software across frontend and backend.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional experience in modern web development.
• Advanced TypeScript proficiency.
• Strong Node.js expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js.
• Extensive AWS experience with serverless technologies.
• Experience building GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of cloud monitoring and distributed tracing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern web applications using TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using GraphQL and Node.js.
• Architect and deploy serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, CDK, and DynamoDB.
• Implement integration patterns including SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Ensure observability and reliability using CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital products.
• Follow best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.
