Job summary

CHC Helicopters Netherlands B.V. seeks a B2 Type Rated Licensed Engineer to join our Den Helder team. The role focuses on certifying maintenance and ensuring fleet readiness for AW139s, under Part-145 authorization.

Not a touring position, candidates must hold a valid EASA license with a type rating and speak English proficiently. Applicants should be able to work precisely, manage tight deadlines, and coordinate with planners and other departments to maintain offshore and onshore helicopter

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid EASA aircraft maintenance license with at least one type rating endorsement.
• An AW139 type rating endorsement is strongly preferred.
• Good working knowledge of the English language, verbal and written.
• Work in a structured and precise manner.
• Thorough understanding of applicable EASA Part-M, Part-145 requirements.
• Strong communication and effective problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this role.
• Proven ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Ample computer / MRO software skills (AMOS, SQID, TCmax, Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• The Type Rated Licensed Engineer is responsible for the work released by themselves, or by others under supervision.
• Carry out tasks in accordance with relevant procedures and instructions.
• Use personal safety equipment as required.
• Report any non-conformance or potentially hazardous situation.
• Perform and release maintenance activities on AW139s per company authorization, including troubleshooting and parts replacement.
• Implement modifications as specified by Service Bulletins or Engineering Orders.
• Assign tasks to Unlicensed Engineers, supervise, inspect and release the work performed.
• Carry out the administrative duties associated with issuing the Certificate Release to Service.
• Coordinate the work/shift plan in absence of a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Communicate with the Technical Planner.
• Monitor and update short-term planning and coordinate with Flight Ops and Technical Services to ensure fleet availability.
• Keep the hangar tidy and perform required husbandry tasks.
