Job summary

Salento is seeking a Platform Engineer (AWS) to design and operate a centralized AWS landing zone for the Dutch ports, focusing on networking, security, and standardization in a hybrid Rotterdam setting.

You will implement Terraform IaC, manage VPCs, Transit Gateway, and AWS Organizations, collaborating with Scrum teams to migrate workloads and enforce best practices.

Qualifications

• Higher education level (HBO or WO) in a relevant field.
• Experience with AWS networking and security principles.
• Familiarity with Terraform and centralized cloud governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the central AWS landing zone.
• Set up and optimize a centralized network architecture (VPCs, Transit Gateway).
• Implement AWS Organizations and SCPs to enforce standards.
• Automate infrastructure with Terraform (IaC).
• Set up AWS security services (GuardDuty, Security Hub) and migrate workloads.
