Job summary

Fokker Services Group is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker Components in the Volkel/Leeuwarden area to repair, overhaul and modify aircraft components in a high‑tech MRO environment.

You will perform precision sheet metal work on structural parts per manuals and instructions, contributing to airworthiness and reliability of aircraft used by operators worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Completed MBO education in metalworking, aircraft maintenance or mechanics.
  • Knowledge or experience with sheet metal work in aircraft maintenance or component repair environment.
  • Understanding of repair manuals, service bulletins and safety regulations.
  • Strong manual skills and precision in technical work.
  • Good command of English for reading technical documentation.
  • Reference check is part of our recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections and intake checks of aircraft components, documenting findings and deviations.
  • Repair, overhaul and modification of components according to repair manuals and service bulletins.
  • Shape, form, fit and restore aluminium, steel and composite-related parts.
  • Carry out precision sheet metal work using specialized tools and repair techniques.
  • Record completed work on repair cards and in maintenance systems.
  • Work according to aviation quality standards, safety procedures and approved repair methods.
  • Collaborate with CMRO team and contribute to process improvements.

How you keep the engine running with us

As a Sheet Metal Worker Components, you will work in a high-tech MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) environment, focusing on the repair, overhaul and modification of aircraft components in the workshop.

You will perform precision sheet metal work on structural parts and components in accordance with strict aviation standards, repair manuals and technical instructions. Your work directly contributes to the safety, reliability and airworthiness of aircraft components used by operators worldwide.

Working within our CMRO (Component Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) organization, you will collaborate closely with technicians and engineers to ensure high-quality repairs and continuous process improvements.

In this role you will be responsible for a wide range of sheet metal activities on aircraft components, including:

  • Performing inspections and intake checks of aircraft components, including documenting findings and deviations

How you are valuable to us

You are a hands-on technician with strong attention to detail and a passion for working with precision materials.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A completed MBO education in metalworking, aircraft maintenance, mechanics or a comparable technical field
  • Knowledge of or experience with sheet metal work, preferably within an aircraft maintenance or component repair environment
  • Understanding of technical manuals, repair methods and safety regulations
  • Strong manual skills and precision in technical work
  • Good command of English, especially for reading and applying technical documentation
