Job summary

Avion designs and builds full flight simulators with a strong focus on innovation and close customer relationships. You will own the marketing function and support the commercial front line, leaning toward marketing while enabling the sales team rather than closing deals.

The role offers freedom to shape Avion’s external presence, including international exhibitions and collaborations with training centres in the UK and India; occasional travel is involved.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally with a commercial or sales support component.
• Experienced with HubSpot or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform.
• Comfortable managing websites through a CMS.
• Experienced with Adobe InDesign.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Willing to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice.
• A self-starter who can plan, prioritise and deliver independently across a broad set of responsibilities.
• Curious about new tools and ways of working, and actively using AI to work smarter.
• Able to brief, assess and manage external specialists such as designers, video makers and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain Avion's websites, content, SEO and landing pages.
• Plan and run digital marketing campaigns including Google Ads and LinkedIn.
• Grow Avion's LinkedIn presence with sector-relevant content.
• Write and distribute press releases and manage trade press relations.
• Develop brochures and assets for global markets.
• Plan and manage Avion's presence at international exhibitions.
• Handle first-line sales contact via email, phone and events; qualify leads in HubSpot.
• Support customer fly-outs at the Luton training centre.
• Prepare market research and data analysis for business development.
• Assist with proposals, tender documentation and market intelligence.
• Maintain relationships with customers, partners and industry bodies.
