This established and highly credited company is seeking a proactive and analytical Business Development Support Analyst. This role is pivotal in identifying market opportunities, supporting strategic initiatives, and developing data-driven business cases to drive growth in the engine leasing sector. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with industry insight to help shape and execute our commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research on aviation trends, engine demand cycles, competitor activity, and customer needs.
• Monitor industry news, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting the engine leasing market.
• Maintain and update market databases and dashboards.

Opportunity Identification

• Analyze market data to identify potential leasing opportunities, partnerships, and new customer segments.
• Support the development of strategic plans for entering new markets or expanding existing ones.

Business Case Development

• Collaborate with commercial, technical, and finance teams to build robust business cases for new initiatives.
• Model financial scenarios, ROI, and risk assessments for proposed deals or investments.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership and stakeholders.

Team Support

• Assist the Business Development team with proposal preparation, customer presentations, and deal tracking.
• Coordinate internal resources to support deal execution and post-deal analysis.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in market analysis, strategy, or business development—ideally in aviation, leasing, or finance.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with aviation engines, leasing structures, and industry dynamics is a plus.
