Job summary
A leading shipbuilding company in the Netherlands is offering an internship or graduation project in General Autonomous Shipping. The role involves working on innovative technologies related to autonomous shipping, including research questions and tool development. Ideal candidates are BSc/MSc engineering students with strong backgrounds in control, robotics, or software. Mentoring will be provided and internships are fully supported with fees and allowances. Qualifications
BSc/MSc engineering student with a strong background in control, robotics, or machine learning.
Proficient in simulation skills (MATLAB, Python) and robotics control (ROS).
Experience with network interfacing and standardized protocols is preferred.
Responsibilities
Answer a specific research question related to autonomous shipping.
Perform simulations or use the full-mission bridge simulator.
Work under the supervision of a researcher.
