Job summary

Fortive Corporation’s Advanced Sterilization Products division is hiring a Field Service Engineer/Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair advanced medical devices in hospitals and healthcare facilities across the Netherlands. You’ll be the on-site technical expert, supporting customers, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with sales, education and service teams.

Qualifications

3+ years in technical service, field service or maintenance.
Experience with medical devices or highly regulated equipment preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer-facing communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a busy schedule.
Good English communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, CRM systems and digital service tools.

Responsibilities

Install, validate and commission new equipment.
Perform planned preventative maintenance on medical devices.
Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Provide on-site customer support and training.
Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Education and Technical Service teams.
Maintain service records and documentation in company systems.
Manage tools, inventory and parts within territory.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction activities.
