Job summary

TMC is seeking an Automotive Engineer - Aftertreatment in Eindhoven. You will develop, validate, and implement advanced aftertreatment systems that drive cleaner, more efficient vehicles.

You collaborate with control, software, and system engineers as well as external suppliers to deliver high‑quality solutions. Key tasks include calibrating and optimizing control parameters for diesel, hybrid, and electric drivetrains and BMS, analyzing vehicle data, and testing on benches, simulations, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Mechatronics/Automotive Engineering/Control Engineering).
  • Experience with vehicle control systems, calibration processes, or automotive control.
  • Knowledge of model-based development and control engineering.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrating and optimizing control parameters for diesel, hybrid, electric drivetrains, and BMS.
  • Analyzing vehicle, engine, and battery data to enhance system performance.
  • Developing, testing, and validating control strategies for drivetrains and BMS.
  • Performing calibration activities on test benches, in simulations, and during vehicle testing.
  • Collaborating with control, software, and system engineers and external suppliers.
  • Ensuring systems meet performance, emission, and legal requirements.
