Job summary

TMC is a global high-tech consultancy currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Eindhoven. You will design and develop technical solutions, from concept through production, using 2D and 3D CAD and collaborating across engineering, production, and procurement teams.

You will translate client and project requirements into sketches, models, and drawings, create documentation, and perform calculations to support designs. English and Dutch proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in designing, drafting, and constructing.
• Experience with CAD software such as Siemens NX or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering calculations.
• Experience with GD&T and Manufacturability.
• Strong command of English and Dutch.
• Proactive and result-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions using 2D and 3D CAD.
• Translate client and project requirements into sketches, models, and assembly drawings.
• Create production and detail drawings for components and installations.
• Perform technical calculations to support designs.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and other involved disciplines.
• Oversee the realization, assembly, and commissioning of systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and optimize existing designs.
• Prepare and manage technical documentation, bill of materials, and specifications.
• Provide support for technical issues from clients or projects.
