Job summary

WITRON Group in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, is seeking a proactive Process Engineer for the CDC JUMBO to monitor and optimize daily performance of an automated logistics system at the customer site. You will analyze data, identify root causes, and drive improvements in collaboration with PLC programmers and control room teams.

You bring a technical qualification and at least 1 year in a similar role, with knowledge of PLC systems and WMS, and you communicate in English. Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification (EQF Level 4) or bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics, automation, manufacturing, intralogistics, or the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• monitor, analyze, and optimize the daily performance and reliability of the automated logistics system at our customer location (CDC JUMBO)
• identify root causes of system disruptions through data analysis and drive sustainable solutions
• analyze system performance and implement operational improvements in close collaboration with PLC programmers
• perform targeted monitoring of control room screens, BWOS, and other mission-critical systems
• prepare daily reports and checklists and ensure timely follow-up of service tickets
• report directly to the Continuous Improvement Manager and proactively recommend optimization opportunities
• work independently while collaborating closely with the Control Room, Continuous Improvement, and Technical Services teams
• support production and technical teams during escalations, maintenance activities, and cleaning schedules by coordinating machine availability
• perform system recovery activities in case of server failures and ensure continuous monitoring of order flow, material flow, and operational performance
