Innovate in Rotterdam seeks a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve automated warehouse equipment on site, Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support system reliability with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

The role emphasizes working with on-site teams, following safety procedures, and contributing to long-term performance improvements in a modern, automated facility.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification in mechanical engineering, electrical maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programmes and structured maintenance schedules.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective electromechanical maintenance on automated material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control faults and escalate when needed.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance in line with procedures and safety standards.
• Support and maintain automated systems such as conveyors, pallet handling equipment, cranes, and robotics.
• Contribute to high system availability by following best practices and driving improvements.
• Work safely on site and report risks; build relationships with on-site teams.
