Job summary
A leading packaging solutions provider in Kerkrade is seeking a Manager Engineering (Automation) who will lead an Engineering team and drive operational excellence in developing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering and over 7 years of experience in the machine building industry. Responsibilities include managing engineering projects, ensuring customer-centric solutions, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Fluency in Dutch and English is required, alongside CAD proficiency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in machine building industry.
- Experience working in an international environment.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Lead and further develop the Engineering team of approximately 6 FTE.
- Drive Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement.
- Manage and execute NPI or other Engineering projects relating to Ranpak equipment.
- Develop and design mechanical/electrical/software systems for machine applications.
