Job summary

Focus Engineering is seeking a Medior/Senior Automation Engineer for an international system integrator active in multiple industries in the Netherlands.

You will design and program PLC, SCADA and HMI systems, write functional and technical specs, and contribute to testing and commissioning, with opportunities for international travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in programming PLC, SCADA and HMI systems, preferably Siemens and/or AB Codesys.
• Experience with in-house testing and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally if required.

Responsibilities

• Write functional and technical design specifications.
• Program PLC, SCADA and HMI systems (Siemens preferred).
• Perform in-house testing and commissioning of PLC/SCADA/HMI systems.

Job description

Focus Engineering is currently looking for an Medior / Senior Automation Engineer for a System Integrator active in multiple industries in the Netherlands.

Focus Engineering assists you with the following:

• Finding a house in The Netherlands
• Taking out insurance policies
• Apply for the 30% ruling: Focus Engineering will apply on your behalf for the 30% ruling, which is a tax benefit you will receive as a skilled knowledge migrant. This means you will not pay any tax over the first 30% of your income in the Netherlands

The company and job:

• International System Integrator with a high diversity of projects in Maritime industry, Food, Oil & Gas, Water and more.
• You are involved in writing functional and technical design specifications.
• You are responsible for programming PLC,SCADA and HMI systems (mainly Siemens, but also Allen Bradley and Codesys).
• You are responsible for (in-house) testing and commissioning of PLC, SCADA en HMI systems (this is important to have experience with).
• International travelling will be discussed with the Automation Engineer.

• Salary up to EUR 70.000,- gross per year.
