G2 is working with an exciting client in the North Holland region who currently requires an Automation Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. The client works on automated machine and equipment manufacturing projects for multiple industries including Food, Beverage, and Chemical, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and write PLC code for turnkey automation projects.
• Integrate and test PLC, DCS, and HMI systems.
• Commission and troubleshoot automation equipment from project inception to hand‑over.
• Use Siemens PCS7 throughout all stages of the project.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Background in Automation/PLC Engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related field
• Hands‑on experience writing, developing, integrating, and commissioning PLC, DCS or HMI systems
• Proficiency with Siemens PCS7 (essential)
• English speaking essential; Dutch beneficial but not required
